What makes a Dependable Family
Being part of a family is showing loyalty and love to each other. Family is very important because they provide love,trust and dependent.
Being loyal is being reliable and true. Loyalty is part of family and also friendship. Family and friends always have your back. They are always honest and reliable.
Love is one of the most important qualities in a family. Family consists of the people who support and love you, and the people you can confide in and trust. Being loved develops good cheerfulness and lots of joy.
Being kind is having empathy to others. A kind person is loving and giving out of the goodness in their hearts.For example, If you see a person crying because of a bully, you can talk to them about it and you cheer the person up with funny faces! It always about building relationships between family and friends.
Family is having qualities like loyalty,kindness,love and responsibility. Family is a strong bond between kids and parents.

Narrative Writing
There was an explosion in the library where an unknown betrayer or bandit had secretly put a bomb killing everyone in there. The fire spread across the whole village. Some villagers died from the lack of oxygen some put a jumper or coat over their nose so they wouldn’t faint and die from the fire’s smoke.The enemy flees as quick as he can so he can’t reveal his identity to others.
There was one boy named Peter, he and his father went home to get all their belongings. But as soon as they packed up Peter’s father found his book that he hadn’t returned to the library before it exploded. He said to Peter, “This is the book of our people.” Once they were ready they were off to find another home. Some were depressed and some were crying over their lost ones. The whole village suffered from walking too much and sleeping on the roads huddling to keep warm.
One day Peter’s father was ill. Some disease he caught from travelling on the road. He gave Peter the book hoping he will keep it safe. He then died. The villagers buried Peter’s father telling Peter “Leave that book of yours we have a long way to go!” Peter fell into depression and didn’t give up on the book his Father gave him. Eventually he left the suitcase and held on to the book tightly.
Peter and the villagers found a steep hill that lead to a city. By the time they got there Peter was all alone as the villagers went into the city. Peter found an ancient linden tree that was over 1,000 years old and had grown many branches. He buried the book under the linden tree.
Then he went on with his life.
Years later, Peter, now a parent, started thinking about the past. He had forgotten the book his father gave him. He makes his way back to the city where he left the book. He started running towards the linden tree hoping it will still be there.
When he finally arrived he sees a little girl playing nearby. He asks her to come with him to the linden tree. They dig up the dirt and find the book. The girl said “Aww, it's just a scruffy rusty book.” Peter replied “It's not just any book it’s a book about our people.” They both read the book.
Peter continues his travels and finds his Dad’s grave. His eyes glazed as he saw a person. It was too hard to see who it was. Peter rushed over there immediately, he knew it was one of his family. He remembered this woman. When they both met. Peter started saying “Mum?” Then the woman replied “Who are you? And why have you come here?” Peter said “I am Peter and this is my Dad’s grave…” The woman replied, “Peter? You're my son!” They both hugged. Peter was surprised that his Mum was here. He asked “Where have you been?” She said “I was kidnapped by the enemy in the library. He took me to his prison where I was kept for years.” Peter asked “How did you escape?” She replied “a friend of mine was captured because she was in the library last year. She gave me her pin to unlock the lock on the cell. She told me to look for help.” Peter said “But why did you come here?” His mum said “I went to find help in the village but it seems to be empty, I saw a lot of people died. So I went to travel on the way I saw this grave and I knew it was my husband.” Peter said “What did you come to the library for?” I was looking for this book but it wasn’t there. So the enemy’s guard asked me where was this book. I said I do not know what book you want?” So he imprisoned me. Peter said I’m putting the book back where it belongs so it is safe and sound.” So his mum and Peter went off walking back to the village.
Peter and his mum saw the beautiful village, it had been restored by some of the villagers who hadn’t left. There they saw the new library with fresh new books. Mum and Peter gave the book to the Library Manager to put the book back where it belongs.

Drama (Story)
There are a lot of things happening right now. An unknown villain or enemy bombed the library… there was no answer to He/She did it or why? People were crying for their lost ones. They all decided to flee from the city from the fire burning all the village. They walked for miles, the villagers slept on nights and traveled for food and home… They eventually found more food but no new villages.
We couldn’t find a village so we searched day and night. Eventually we found a map which would lead us to a forest. When we got to the forest, there was nothing there, we thought that there would be a home for us to live in, Instead, we traveled to another forest. My dad couldn’t walk for another mile, he felt so ill he died. But I still moved on without him, all I know is that he is in a better place. I was pretty angry that we got nothing, so I ordered everyone to build a home for us to live.
At night people were still working overnight and day. Some months later they finished the new village, every villager was happy. But then… Soldiers came from our forest. I was thinking they lived here too? That explains why there was bear traps, So they can capture villagers and torture them. Does it have to do with the book? Why do they need it? Why is it important? Now all this story is explained or not.
Now we are captured. We have our chance and our only hope is someone could save us. Who ever is reading is. Help us.

My subject in school is maybe Reading and/or Maths. Reading is more quiet for me to focus instead of talking to my friends a lot. Maths helps me with my multiplications so I can memorize the times table. I have no sports I am into but I really love watching them! I enjoy being at home to play Roblox with my friends aka. Summer,Anamaria,Simon and Harley. We play other games evolving Jailbreak, Bloxburg and more. I definitely love watching my favourite chinese drama in Youtube they are called Put Your Head On My Shoulder and Devil Master Do Not Kiss Me S1, S2, S3 and S4. Sometimes I get bored and sleep or play some Roblox to help, sometimes when I play or watch I go to sleep easily. My goal for this year is to move on with my life in college so I can achieve my dreams and/or my parents/families dreams.
I am looking forward to take step by step in college to university and finally continue my life/journey. My family and friends past family or family that are born after me made me inspire who I am and my life continues like this for years and years. I am connected with my friends and family because they are connected towards my heart. <3

Sailing!
On Wednesday 2nd of May in Okahu Bay Our class and I went to sailing. We met Steven,Justin, and JR they showed us the instructions of how to setup a boat. First we had morning tea, It was so yummy at first. Girls and boys got changed just because they take longer to change or having trouble putting it on.
Then it was time for us to get changed, I took off my jacket and went straight to the toilet or changing room. It took a while to get changed but we had help of Ms. George. Then we got into two pairs I was with Ida. The others were confusing or hateful when they are with a girl or boy.
My partner Ida and I were getting along of sailing their was some bumping going on! I got a little bit uncomfortable. I wanted to go solo but their was no people to say so Ida fell on the boat and she got helped by a Justin,JR or Steven. The boat was so slow and sometimes it wouldn't control like when we are going left or right. We saw so many people racing or using the acceleration.
After that it was lunch we got our bags took the lunch boxes and ate. Then we sat and then had a little swim. After finishing our food I went with Roneeza and Anamaria. We capsize the boat 2 times, I scooped out the water out of the boat to help it not sink the boat. But then one of the helpers helped us get into the boat. I was floating holding on to the boat. Then RJ came and helped us he put me into the boat with along Roneeza. Anamaria was stiring with Matheus in the boat. The optimists were good and fine.
Later, we changed back into some warm clothes and had a shower. We then got some certificates for being a promising sailor. Veronica got the trophy! And we all said Thank you to our instructors or coaches. We then went off to the bus, back to school and went home!

Seed Savers
In yellow group we are suppose to make a diagram of a cycle of a broad bean. Diagrams are very important because of the pictures on the events that is happening.

My name is Moonia and I have 2 brothers, parents and grandparents. I am a Yr 7 in St Patrick's School. I have been at St Patrick's for about 5 years, I moved from Pt England when I was only the age of 5 and in kindergarten! I wasn't expecting 2 brothers but thankfully I am the only daughter because sometime sisters can be annoying. I have lots of friends at school; Summer, Roneeza, Anamaria, Veronica and Idaliah. Sometimes me and my friends always laugh at funny jokes! I am only 10 years old and I am about to turn 11 in April! I made two friends at Pt. England but my mum was not happy about the way I was talking to my friends on a video call. Sometimes my mum says it's not safe for me to go on the internet and go to video calls because there may be some predators, hackers or people you don't want to meet. Anyway, I was born in Australia before we came back to Auckland. My parents wasted their money on lots of baby stuff. I was even embarrassed when they put baby photos on Facebook. My hobbies are Reading, Music, Drawing and Computers. I read outside if there is a new Comic Books like Smile, Sisters or Drama. Music is usually the kind of hobbies I like because my throat hits the table and I'm not able to sing properly. Drawing is my favourite, I keep practicing until I get the hang of it. Finally Computer, computers are into me, I can type fast or just play whenever I want. My favourite game is Roblox. Roblox is a massive game where people play for free and there is about 70 Million people playing online and of course you can play tycoons, simulators, and beta games. My favourite colour is Light Yellow or Light Red. My dad is a worker that cuts meat and my mom goes to University, she may graduate this year or next year. I really hate being shy because sometimes I get shy when i'm in a crowd. Lastly that is all for me to answer I am looking forward to reading about you!

How to make Play Dough
Ingredients:
2 Cups of Flour
½ Cup Salt
2 Tbsp Oil
2 Tbsp Cream of Tartar
2 Cups Boiling Water
1 Tsp Food Colouring
Method:
1) Mix all dry ingredients.
2) Add oil and boiling water with colouring and mix well.
3) Store is airtight container.
How to make St Patrick’s Play Dough
I really had a happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Yesterday on the 18th of March for St Patrick's my class and I made play dough. We were all divided into 5 groups.
The first thing we did was to wear a glove to help us knead the green dough. We put 2 Cups of Flour in the bowl then ½ a cup of Salt, and 2 Tbsp of cream of tartar. We added 2 Tbsp of Oil, 1 Tsp of Food Colouring and mixed it well. Ms George poured in. 2 Cups of Boiling water.
We mixed it until it became a sticky texture . We added more flour until it wasn’t as sticky. We kept kneading the dough wearing our gloves so our hands didn’t turn green. Our playdough was still very sticky so we kept adding more and more flour until it became play dough.
Me and my friends rubbed our hands so the dough can get off of our hands. We all take turns kneading the dough. When it was ready we had to roll it like a ball so all the dough wouldn’t stick in the bowl. Once it becomes softer you can do any shapes you want.
Yesterday was a good day of making play dough.
